(Dubai, Jul 16, 2026) – IEQ technologies, part of The Healthy Home Global®, together with Healthy Workplace Middle East, is proud to officially launch the Healthy Workplace Certification programme in the UAE. The certification provides organisations with an objective and measurable way to assess the health and well-being of their workplace environment. Instead of relying primarily on employee surveys, general observations, or self-reported information, the programme evaluates real indoor environmental data collected during normal workplace operations. Through the certification, businesses can better understand how their indoor environment is performing, identify areas requiring improvement, and demonstrate a measurable commitment to the well-being of employees, clients, and visitors.
Workplace wellbeing is becoming an increasingly important consideration for organisations across the UAE. Businesses are paying closer attention to employee experience, indoor air quality, sustainability, ESG objectives, and the overall performance of their working environments. However, many environmental conditions that can influence workplace comfort and wellbeing are not immediately visible. These can include elevated carbon dioxide levels, airborne particles, volatile organic compounds, ventilation issues, temperature fluctuations, and humidity imbalance.
Healthy Workplace Certification helps organisations move beyond assumptions by providing a structured evaluation based on actual workplace conditions. The programme is powered by Indoorcare, an indoor environmental monitoring and analytics platform that evaluates parameters including carbon dioxide, PM2.5, PM10, total volatile organic compounds, temperature, and humidity.
The Healthy Workplace Certification process is simple, structured, and data-led:
For organizations without existing indoor air quality monitors, IAQ devices are installed in the workplace to monitor key environmental parameters during the assessment period. The monitoring period runs for 30 days, giving a more complete view of workplace conditions across real operating hours instead of relying on a one-time inspection.
During the 30-day HWP assessment period, indoor environmental data is collected and reviewed through Indoorcare’s software-enabled certification framework. The platform evaluates workplace conditions and generates insights based on key areas linked to workplace wellness, including comfort, cognitive function, productivity, performance, and physical health.
Data is reviewed through the Healthy Workplace certification framework. If the workplace does not initially meet the required certification score, the organization receives actionable recommendations to help improve indoor environmental conditions. This is where The Healthy Home® can support businesses in the UAE with practical indoor environment improvement solutions.
Organizations that meet the Total Wellness Score of 71% or greater receive official certification recognition. This may include an official certificate, digital certification badge, and communication materials that can be used to highlight the organization’s commitment to workplace wellbeing. The certification gives businesses a credible way to communicate measurable proof of care to employees, clients, visitors, and stakeholders.
The launch of Healthy Workplace Certification represents an important step towards making workplace wellbeing more measurable, transparent and actionable across the UAE. By combining environmental monitoring, data analytics, practical improvement recommendations and formal certification, the programme enables organisations to establish a clearer understanding of their workplace conditions and take informed steps towards healthier indoor environments. Businesses can apply for certification as a one-time workplace assessment or as part of a longer-term indoor environmental monitoring and wellbeing programme.
